Before 90th, no body knew about something called internet and about 0.5% had hardly access to it in Sudan.  In 90th, about 1% had litercy and this is when internet had been entered to Sudan. In 2005, phones, mobiles were introduced to the public to use. It was a great challenge to see people were prohabitted to use these instruments for the fear of the security; the war was still not over. In 2005, after North-South war was over by signing CPA, most of the companies in Sudan acknowledge the use of mobile phones, and also introduced internet work in their businesses. This was the beginning of internet technology to be known in Sudan. however until now, the people of South Sudan has below 1% percent litercy in internet access.
